Behind the Fight Scenes of Cobra Kai the Netflix Hit Series

Cobra Kai featured some amazing fight scenes that take viewers and Karate fans to a real Karate kid world of imagination. We connected with the characters in season 1 and have followed their journey over the past few years as they grew. The martial arts and fight sequences of Cobra Kai Seasons 1 through 4 have progressively gotten better.

In some exclusive leaked video footage we can take a look at some amazing practice scenes, where the characters are doing test work for their fight scene performances. In these short videos we can see the production crew lingering nearby to ensure safety of the actors while the actors like Jacob Bertrand "Hawk", adorn their protective face coverings despite the physicality of the demanding action roles.

A special moment behind the scenes show how director John, steps in to coach and mold the young actors into delivering a memorable and believable performance.

Behind the scenes we can see two main cameras to film important angles on the set, a boom mic to capture sound and a still photographer behind a curtain in the rear of the room. I'd love to see some of the photos from the still photographer!

In another exclusive video we get to see behind the scene of how the actors were swapped with stunt doubles during the fight scenes of the All Valley tournament and what this looks like in real time. It's well known that in Hollywood many actors utilize stunt doubles to take falls that could jeopardize the speed of filming and halt costly productions with deadlines like Netflix's Cobra Kai, which is owned by Sony Pictures.

Another famous scene from Season 4 of Cobra Kai is when Mary Mousser "Sam" takes a daredevil leap from one rooftop to another to spite her dad "Daniel Larusso" and her Sensei "Johnny Lawrence". Here we see a stunt double taking a massive run, stabilized with a harness that spanned from roof top to rooftop.

We also get to see clips like the social distancing used by the crew as they were practicing their combinations to hone their partial arts skills and a nice practice session of the Sai by Mary Mousser "Sam LaRusso". Unfortunately, the Sai performance turned out a bit lame but it's not her fault, she didn't know we have an awesome step by step online lesson program for it.

The Cobra Kai actors crew looks like they have a lot of fun and a lot of laughs off camera, as we can see in the leaked footage below. It reminds us that these teens are real friends despite the character feuds they portray during the series and they train hard to learn real skills like backflips, grappling, tornado kicks, tricks and fight sequences.

The Karate Kids of Cobra Kai Series had to work really hard off set to not only learn the martial arts, but to get proficient at it as fast as possible. How they managed to memorize their lines in addition to all of this amazes me.

We get to witness some great behind the scenes practice of the Cobra Kai Boys working hard to hit some pads and increase flexibility, dexterity and speed.

There was a lot of laughs and some huffing and puffing as they worked out.

Hope you enjoyed watching this behind the scene Cobra Kai action as much as I did. While the fighting in Cobra Kai hasn't always been the greatest, it's fine because the actors seem to be really enjoying making the content as much as we love watching it. Also, it is obvious they are putting in a ton of work to get better each day.
